The Efco Quality Control Process

Torch Remanufacturing Procedures:

1. Torches are completely disassembled, cleaned and bead blasted to remove all contaminants so our technicians can do a thorough and complete inspection of all internal and external components.

2. The Gas Apparatus is inspected for cracks or poor solder joints and is brazed as needed.

3. The head is reamed and the valve and cutting seats are resurfaced where necessary.

4. Test check valves and/or flash back arrestors if mounted on the u Disassembled Victor Torch nit.

5. All seals, seats and o-rings (soft parts) are replaced.

6.The torch is then reassembled according to OEM specifications.

7. The torch is then tested for external leakage including valve packing and valve seat leak.

8. Test for proper valve and lever actuation and adjust or replace were needed.

9. Flame test for proper flame form and gas flow.

10. Flame test for burn-back resistance.

11. Retest for valve closure.

12. Final Quality Control inspection.

14. The finished product is then sealed in shrink-wrap on your companies packaging materials (private label Remanufacturing), Efco or generic packaging with tracking number ready to be shipped.

The end result is “PROFESSIONAL GRADE” torch repair that you will be proud to represent that will ensure you complete & total customer satisfaction.
